English is so popular that it has become the standard language of international communication. There are several methods of teaching English remotely, each of which assumes a specific approach to teaching using different materials or special programs that are mastered in a different sequence.

Today, the Internet is inextricably linked to the life of almost every person. Most of today's students and schoolchildren actively use computers and the Internet in their lives and education. In modern society, the use of Internet technologies and distance learning opens up new opportunities for students.

Distance learning is "a purposeful, specially organized process of interaction between students and the teacher, with the means of information and communication technologies (ICT) and among themselves." Manufacturability makes distance learning more effective. New technologies make it possible to make visual information vivid and dynamic, build your own educational process, having an active student interaction with the learning system. The development of Internet networks, fast Internet access, the use of multimedia technologies, sound, video make distance learning courses complete and interesting.

To master new forms and methods of work in English lessons, which contribute to the development of the student's personality, it is necessary to increase motivation and interest in learning English and use new information technologies and communication tools in the classroom. Self-study of the English language practically does not bring results, the student can easily spoil his pronunciation when reading English words, without the help of a teacher. Without effective teacher feedback, no course or teaching material will help you learn a language. Now, in connection with the pandemic in the country, they started teaching all subjects, including English, for children in a distance format.

The overall effectiveness of distance learning English depends on several components. For example, the use of the latest and traditional teaching technologies; efficiency and feedback capabilities; the effectiveness of the classes and the interaction between the student and the teacher; the effectiveness of the methods used and the professionalism of the teacher; personal motivation of the learner. Thus, the quality of the knowledge gained and the overall success of distance learning always depend on the methodological quality of the materials used in the method of organizing classes.

One of the advantages of distance learning for students is that knowledge can be acquired when and where it is convenient for the student. They can read and listen to materials on the road or at home, during their lunch break or in a cafe. However, the trainee must be able to use a computer, communication and training programs (Zoom, Teams, Skype, and others).

To master new forms and methods of work in English lessons, which contribute to the development of the student's personality, it is necessary to increase motivation and interest in learning English and use new information technologies and communication tools in the classroom.

The communicative approach is the leading means of achieving this goal. It provides a complete and balanced coverage of all aspects, aspects and operations of mastering a foreign language in the complex of all its functions, it becomes important to form the ability to work with information, develop a creative personality who can find and receive information, able to independently navigate in the living space. A person speaks to influence the behavior, thoughts and feelings of others through speech activity. This means that communication can be taught only by involving students in various types of activity, by modeling real life situations of communication on the basis of systematization of language material, which gives us a systematic activity approach.

It is best to use computer technologies as part of distance learning, since they allow you to broadcast any information (videos, texts, pictures, etc.) over a distance. The use of computer technology makes it possible to achieve feedback between the teacher and students. This ensures the interactivity of the training. With the help of computer technology, schoolchildren can be entrusted with independent work.

On the basis of the school, distance learning technologies can be used for project work, the participation of schoolchildren in it allows them to increase their self-esteem, teach schoolchildren to work with electronic resources in order to find the necessary information.

A project with distance learning technologies for teaching English is beneficial for schoolchildren, teachers and educational institutions themselves. The fact is that this form of education allows students to develop their creative potential, and the use of these technologies helps the teacher gain invaluable experience in using new forms and methods of organizing educational activities.

Therefore, distance learning, taking into account Internet resources, is a fundamental means of implementing these tasks. Currently, this form of education is the most popular among students. The specificity of the subject "Foreign language" is that the fundamental component of the content of teaching a foreign language is not a scientific basis, but methods of work - teaching various types of speech activity: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Therefore, in order to teach students various types of speech activity, it is necessary to provide each student with the opportunity to practice the type of speech activity that he is mastering at the moment.

Learning speech activity is possible only in live communication. Thus, a partner is needed. In the process of computer telecommunications, a student can have a live conversation (oral or written) with a teacher or classmate. This makes the learning process more accessible and organized much easier than traditional learning. For example, in a city where people who want to learn a foreign language live, there may not be special courses. To start distance learning, it is possible to find the course of interest on the Internet, register on the website and pay the tuition fee through the bank. Test assignments can be attached to a special learning platform, where you can chat with the teacher, as well as receive marks and comments on completed assignments. Thus, the organization of the educational process, both for students and for organizers of training, becomes easier, since there are no formal restrictions on the principle of training.

Distance learning English using video conferencing and electronic transmission of all teaching materials does not require the purchase of often expensive textbooks and manuals. All the necessary educational literature is stored in a publicly accessible electronic database, which students can access at any time.

Another positive point is that individual tasks in teaching English are performed remotely by all students independently, therefore, the assessment of these tests by any teacher will be objective, since the teacher does not personally know the students.

Thus, we can conclude that distance learning is a new, modern technology that allows you to make education more quality and affordable. This is the formation of the new millennium, closely related to the use of a computer as a learning tool and the Internet as an educational environment.
