ABSTRACT

This article examines the essence of such a phenomenon as deviant behavior, the causes of deviations and methods of treatment.

Keywords: deviant behavior, deviation, norm, deviation.

Every social system implies the presence of deviations and deviations. For a modern person, it is extremely important to understand the essence of deviations, determine their causes and be able to correctly overcome the negative manifestations of deviations, since they are present in the life of any society. It is important to be competent in the subject of deviations in order to have control over society and be able to manage it.

"Deviant behavior is, on the one hand, an act, actions of a person that do not correspond to officially established or actually established norms or standards in a given society, and on the other hand, a social phenomenon expressed in mass forms of human activity that do not correspond to officially established or actually established norms or standards in a given society." [6]

Deviant behavior can be caused by various reasons. Factors that cause deviations may include:

  1. Mental instability. The psychoemotional state of a person is largely vulnerable to various stimuli.
  2. Addictions of parents or close family members. In this case, problems can be one of the ways to manifest self-doubt, low self-esteem, high anxiety, a sign of intrapersonal conflict and a desire to limit yourself from excessive control.
  3. The presence of other problems in the family. For example, violence, absence of one of the parents (incomplete family), financial situation.
  4. High degree of aggressiveness
  5. Problems in various spheres of life (education, leisure, communication). Any manifestation of psychological discomfort has a cumulative effect and in the future the situation can become critical.
  6. A banal lack of attention, poor upbringing, or lackof it.

Psychotherapy along with medication is a powerful tool for eliminating deviant behavior. First of all, the impact of psychotherapeutic intervention comes to a person's mindto be aware of conflicts occurring in the inner "I", individual character traits are revealed, their awareness and acceptance comes.

Conflict situations are an ideal environment for the manifestation of deviations, so people with deviant behavior are particularly important to learn how to overcome and resolve these conflict situations using socially accepted methods, without showing aggression. There is socialization and familiarization with society, adaptation to the stable rules and norms of this society.

Correction of deviant behavior should not be destructive for the individual, it should not be aimed only at eliminating deviant behavior. It is extremely important to come to an understanding of individual characteristics, manifestations of character and their reaction to conflict situations, understanding the reasons for such a reaction. In this case, the perception of deviant behavior from the personal side will be perceived much more broadly and more consciously.
