ABSTRACT

The article discusses the main forms of life arrangement for orphans and children left without parental care, presents the results of a study of the satisfaction of orphans with their own form of life arrangement, and draws conclusions based on the results.

Keywords: orphans, forms of living arrangements, orphanage, foster family, guardianship and guardianship.

Introduction

The relevance of the research topic is due to the fact that social work with orphans and children left without parental care is one of the most important areas in the social policy of modern Russia, since this category of people is the most vulnerable. We should not forget about the plight of children in residential institutions. There, orphans face many problems related to socialization, education, provision, etc. Thus, we understand that orphans and children left without parental care need social assistance no less than other social groups, and often even more.

Main part

The first question was aimed at determining the most common form of placement for orphans and children left without parental care among the respondents. Thus, it can be noted that the majority of respondents live in boarding schools (48%), a smaller number in orphanages (34%), 8% of children are under guardianship or guardianship, 5% of respondents are adopted and live in foster families (see Diagram 1).

Conclusion

Several conclusions can be drawn from the survey results:

1) In the Belgorod region, the most common form of placement for orphans and children left without parental care is the boarding house.

2) It should be noted that the vast majority of the children surveyed want to change the form of the device in which they live.
