АННОТАЦИЯ

Статья посвящена изучению отношения населения города Белгорода к занятиям спортом, выявлены основные препятствия на пути к занятиям физической культурой. По результатам исследования оценивается эффективность деятельности фитнес-клубов города на сегодняшний день, а также даются рекомендации по усовершенствованию их работы.

ABSTRACT

The article is devoted to the study of the attitude of the population of the city of Belgorod to sports, identified the main obstacles to physical education. According to the results of the study, the effectiveness of the fitness clubs of the city is assessed today, as well as recommendations are given for improving their work.

At the moment the fitness industry has sufficient importance for people around the world, for which there are many reasons, but one of them is the most strong: first of all, the desire of the consumer to adhere to a healthy lifestyle is due to the desire to look good, because the appearance of the person in the modern world is of great importance.

Since the way of life largely causes human well-being, active participation is necessary to protect and strengthen the state of health of citizens themselves and their effective activities. Despite the fact that health has taken a leading position among life values in recent times, people in modern conditions have little aim at it.

We interviewed residents of the city of Belgrade at the age of 14-60 and more years to find out how important it is for them to engage in physical education and sports, The selective population was 100 people. The results of the study are presented below.

There is a difference between the conscious importance of health and the real behavior, which is aimed at its preservation and improvement (Figure 1.), however, 84.5% of respondents consider health one of the main values of life.

Sport is one of the most effective and affordable measures to strengthen and maintain human well-being. We have established the level of sports activity of residents of the city of Belgrade. The results obtained are as follows: almost daily 19%, 2-3 times a week 46%, 3-4 times a month - 15%, less often 12%, 8% are not engaged at all. 55% of respondents are engaged in sports with some frequency, and 34% - not less often than several times a week. (figure 2.)

It became clear that more often aged people from 18 to 25 are engaged in physical activity (25%) though the senior generation does not give way to young people in intensity of trainings (60 years - 19% are more senior). Women are less regularly involved in sports than men (15% versus 20% respectively).

According to the analysis of the gender aspect, which reflected the difference in the reasons of sports, it turned out: men train to strengthen health, women mainly to optimize weight, improve physique. That is why physical exercises and sports are important elements of careful attitude to their well-being (Figure 3).

Young people between the ages of 18 and 25 (57%) are the most likely to enter the treadmill. On the contrary, fitness (22%) became a less popular sport. Swimming (19%) and weightlifting (16%), therapeutic physical education (13%) are less in demand.

The most popular fitness clubs in the city of Belgrade were also identified: FeRRUM (25%), Santa Monica (22%), Fitness City (17%). At the same time consumers first pay attention to such indicators as: convenient location (63%), availability of various simulators and equipment (28%), attention of personnel/trainer (25%).

The main obstacle to sports is the lack of time (41%). This reason is more often said by 35-44-year-olds (66%) and men (49%). Many also complain of ill-health (31%), and one in five (19%) claims that he does not need sports.

Other obstacles include lack of money (28%) and willpower (25%). The main limiter for buying a gym ticket for respondents is the amount of his income. Since human needs are diverse and unlimited, and wealth is limited, the buyer is forced to choose from a large number of services offered to him on the market all the time. Of course, by making this choice, a person tries to get the optimal choice at a limited income (Figure 7.).

Sports-related values and values in general are the main reasons that influence the systematization of sports activities. There are values real and proclaimed that need to be able to distinguish: the real individual seeks to implement. Health and physical improvement as proclaimed values take a high position for people, but in the system of real values play a lower role.

As a result of the study we found that health is included in the list of the most significant values, and at the same time almost 80% of respondents are engaged in sports. That is, it can be said that in almost 90% of people of this category words and thoughts are confirmed by actions. We also found out the main reasons for occupation: desire to improve shape, to bring weight back to normal (68.7%); Desire to improve health (68.1%) and desire to get emotional discharge 50.1%, 34% of respondents are engaged in order to be in the circle of friends.

Thus, it can be concluded that residents of Belgrade are committed to sports: 45% are engaged at least several times a week, but only 34% visit a fitness room.

Notification of the population, working with it, effective involvement in the implementation process for all measures of health protection and promotion, allow to achieve the greatest effect of extension of active life than modern medicine. Increasing responsibility for each citizen's health makes it possible to change the attitude of the population towards self-protective behaviour.
