ABSTRACT
This article examines key innovations in "green logistics" driven by stricter environmental regulations. Three areas are highlighted: the transition to electric vehicles, hydrogen, and eco-fuels; the implementation of AI and sensors to optimize processes; and the development of recycling systems and eco-packaging. Their integrated application creates synergies - reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and strengthening brands. Success requires not isolated solutions, but a complete redesign of logistics, which is becoming a key competitive advantage in the new economy.

Introduction. Demand for reducing harmful emissions is growing worldwide, and environmental regulations are becoming stricter. This is forcing the logistics industry to change. Considered one of the main sources of pollution, logistics is currently undergoing active restructuring. The concept of "green logistics" has evolved from a niche idea into a strategic necessity.
Relevance. The transition to "green" logistics is impossible without the constant implementation of innovations. These innovations are developing in various technological fields, but they share a common goal: to significantly reduce the harmful impact on the environment while maintaining or even increasing business efficiency.
The goal is to systematize and analyze the key areas of change in the field of green logistics. To assess the practical significance of these changes, as well as the synergistic effect of their combined application.
The study is based on an analysis of scientific publications in the field of sustainable development and green logistics, industry reports, and public case studies from leading logistics companies. The theoretical framework is based on the concepts of sustainable development (ESG), the circular economy, and smart logistics.
The energy transition is changing the very nature of transportation. In cities, the number of electric vehicles and e-bikes for delivery is growing, while a network of charging stations and battery recycling solutions is developing. Hydrogen, gas, and biofuels are being tested for long-haul transport, but they require a new network of refueling stations. In aviation, environmentally friendly fuels are being introduced and electric aircraft are being developed [3].
At the same time, digitalization is making logistics greener. Artificial intelligence forecasts demand and plans routes that take traffic into account. Sensors on equipment monitor fuel consumption and cargo condition, optimizing the load. Virtual models (digital twins) help test solutions without risk [2].
The third key vector is circular logistics. This includes product return and recycling systems and the use of biodegradable and compact packaging. Shared platforms that combine orders from different companies into a single trip are gaining popularity, reducing the number of trips [1].
The synergies and economic rationale for implementing these innovations create a sustainable economic model that extends beyond pure costs. Companies realize direct savings through reduced fuel costs and environmental fees. Operational efficiency is enhanced through reduced downtime and improved asset management. Brand and loyalty are strengthened by meeting the growing ESG requirements of customers and partners, and access to green financing is provided.
Conclusion. Innovations in green logistics are a system of interconnected technologies and business approaches. Instead of simply spending money on environmental compliance, companies are starting to create long-term value. Success depends not on a single technology, but on a complete overhaul of the entire logistics system. It must be rebuilt based on three principles: energy transition, digitalization and resource recycling. Companies that invest in this transformation not only help the environment but also build their key advantage in the future market. This advantage is sustainability, high efficiency, and readiness for the demands of the new economy.
