USING ALTERNATIVE CONSTRUCTIONS MATERIALS TO REDUCE NEGATIVE IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT
ABSTRACT
The issue of detrimental environmental effects is getting worse in the modern society. Approximately 39% of these young people are involved in building activities, which are one of the primary contributors of greenhouse gases in the environment, according to a World Health Organization (WHO) study. This establishes the problem's significance and the requirement for a decision. According to the report, this technique lessens the adverse effects on the environment by allowing the use of substitute building materials. findings from research considering their significance for the establishment and maintenance of ecological balance.
Keywords: alternative building materials,
Green building: An strategy to constructing that minimizes adverse effects on the environment through the use of environmentally friendly materials, energy-efficient technologies, and thoughtful design.

INTRODUCTION
The issue of adverse environmental effects during the development and maintenance of buildings and other structures gets worse and more important every year. The demand for developing and implementing ecologically sustainable construction methods is rising along with urban population growth and development volume. Using alternative building materials that are more environmentally friendly than conventional materials is one of the most important strategies to lessen the adverse effects on the environment. Innovative solutions, from manufacture to disposal, are used in the design of alternative construction materials to reduce their adverse effects on the environment. These materials can be produced using less resources, with a lower carbon footprint, increased energy efficiency, and high recyclable content.
LITERARY REVIEW
The influence of alternative building materials on the environmental sustainability of construction and their potential to lessen adverse environmental effects are topics of current research. Utilizing such materials can dramatically lower greenhouse gas emissions, save energy and resource consumption, and enhance indoor air quality, according to several studies.
For instance, a Stanford University study examined the differences in energy efficiency between structures constructed with conventional building materials and those constructed with alternative materials such biocomposites or recovered wood waste. The findings demonstrated that structures composed of alternative materials lowered their heating and cooling energy consumption by 30% on average, saving a substantial amount of resources and lowering carbon emissions.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology carried out a second study that examined how various building materials affected indoor air quality. It has been shown that materials with low concentrations of formaldehyde and other dangerous chemicals enhance inhabitants' health and lower their chance of developing allergies and other disorders linked to air pollution.
According to this research, it's critical to use alternative building materials to construct ecologically friendly buildings and structures that protect the environment and give people a healthy place to live. Additional investigation in this field may aid in the creation of novel technologies and methods for environmentally friendly building.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
Data from research conducted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University were utilized to analyze building materials. It is now feasible to assess materials' energy efficiency and their effect on indoor air quality thanks to comparative analyses. The outcomes demonstrated the value of alternative materials for ecologically friendly and sustainable building, as they have been shown to improve indoor air quality and lower energy usage.
RESULTS
The adoption of alternative building materials is a workable way to lessen the adverse effects on the environment, according to research findings. We were able to highlight the primary benefits and drawbacks of different kinds of these materials in relation to their environmental sustainability thanks to the data that was identified.
The capacity of alternative materials to use less energy and resources during manufacture, which lowers emissions and has a less environmental impact, is one of their main advantages. Furthermore, a large number of these materials have great recycling potential and can be recycled or reused without posing a serious environmental risk.
However, it's equally vital to take these factors into account when selecting alternative materials for building, as some may have restrictions with regard to strength, durability, or cost. The study's general conclusion, however, is that a move toward a greener and more sustainable future in construction is the use of environmentally sustainable materials.
DISCUSSION
The creation of a new building methodology depends on research proving the value of adopting alternative building materials to meet sustainable development objectives and lessen adverse environmental effects. The use of ecologically friendly materials is becoming more and more crucial as modern civilization grapples with issues like climate change, resource depletion, and pollution.
It is noteworthy that alternative building materials not only offer a chance to mitigate adverse effects on the environment, but also enhance people's quality of life. Sustainable construction materials can lower building energy consumption, make living spaces healthier and more comfortable, and enhance community well-being in general.
New technologies and materials that can enhance the environmental sustainability of construction may result from further research into alternative building materials. For instance, they might become far more competitive in the construction materials industry by devising more effective processes for generating alternative materials, enhancing their qualities and durability, and utilizing these resources to create creative buildings and designs.
Examining the effect of substitute building materials on the energy efficiency of buildings is one of the main topics for more research. It is possible to drastically cut down on the amount of energy used for space heating and air conditioning by using highly insulating materials that will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. In addition to conserving resources, this will lower greenhouse gas emissions, a critical move in the fight against climate change.
It's also critical to prioritize public education and knowledge of the advantages of utilizing alternative building materials. The shift to a more sustainable building model can be aided by educating customers and professionals in the fields of construction, architecture, and design on the advantages of sustainable materials.
Finally, using alternative building materials is a crucial component of the strategy for sustainable development and leaving a clean, healthy environment for our children and grandchildren. In order to address global environmental issues and build a sustainable future for everybody, more research, innovation, and broad acceptance of sustainable building materials are needed.
